STRESZCZENIE: W artykule przedstawiono możliwości wykorzystania metalurgii proszków do wytwarzania kompozytów z osnową magnezową umacnianych fazami wytworzonymi in situ z reaktywnych komponentów. Problem zilustrowano na przykładzie mieszaniny mikroziarnistych proszków Mg-Ti-Al oraz mieszaniny mikroziarnistego proszku Mg z nanoziarnistym proszkiem SiO2. Scharakteryzowano efekty strukturalne i umocnienie.

ABSTRACT: The possibilities of powder metallurgy application for fabrication of magnesium matrix composites with reinforcing phases formed in situ due to reactive components interaction were presented. As an issue illustrating the mixture of micro-sized Mg-Ti-Al powders and micro-sized Mg with nanosized SiO2 were applied. There were characterized a structural and strengthening effects.
