STRESZCZENIE: W artykule zaprezentowano teoretyczną i eksperymentalną analizę modalną korpusu obrabiarki. Analiza modalna jest powszechnie wykorzystywaną w praktyce techniką badania dynamicznych właściwości obiektów. Została przeprowadzona w celu porównania wyników teoretycznych z badaniami doświadczalnymi. Wyniki otrzymane na drodze teoretycznej analizy modalnej okazały się wysoce zbieżne z badaniami eksperymentalnymi. Ta weryfikacja modelu teoretycznego z wynikami doświadczalnymi dała podstawy do przeprowadzenia badań, na podstawie których wyciągnięto wnioski na temat dynamicznego zachowania obiektu badań.

ABSTRACT: The paper presents a theoretical and experimental modal analysis of the machine tool body. Modal analysis is a technique widely used in practice for exploring the dynamic properties of objects. The analysis was carried out in order to compare the theoretical results with experimental studies. The results obtained by a theoretical modal analysis have proven to be highly convergent with experimental studies. The verification of the theoretical model with experimental results gave reasonable grounds to conduct a study based on the revised model. On this basis conclusions about the dynamic behavior of the object of research were drawn.
